Royal Way and Their Story

Royal Way, founded in 2019 by Luisa Ferreira dos Santos, is a Portuguese sustainable Accessories and Swimwear brand with a focus on elegant designs. With a passion for jewellery and fashion from a young age, Luisa wanted to create a brand to combine her love of beauty with simplicity and creativity. “I studied hospitality and luxury management but always loved styling and design and created my own designs based on what I liked and thought looked interesting.” Said Luisa.

From its origins of selling accessories like snake-shaped rings, necklaces, and earrings via Instagram, the brand expanded to online and retail stores, and in May 2021 designed and created their first swimwear line to introduce their glamorous vibe to the beach.

Royal Way’s mission is to have you feeling glamorous and sophisticated all year round, even for those occasions when it’s the height of summer on the beach. To enhance your natural beauty, Royal Way specialises in jewellery including necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, and jewellery boxes. All their jewellery is made with hypoallergenic and waterproof materials including stainless steel to be durable and comfortable to wear all day long.

The brand also recently collaborated with Crochena to introduce fun handcrafted crochet hats, as well as stocking a range of stunning silk scarves that you can style in your hair. The current Summer Fling Swimwear Collection is a colourful affair with fashionable designs from bikinis to one piece swimsuits and sets with matching dress cover ups available so that you can go from the beach to the bar with ease!

Royal Way Jewellery

For chic women who love to embrace their femininity and feel bejewelled, the Royal Way jewellery line features striking necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings. A versatile range with everything from classic gold pendant necklaces to colourful and unique designs that are visually striking and luxurious to wear.

“My latest jewellery collection is called Elise and is based on purity and elegance. Elise was the name of my grandmother who had so much grace and elegance. The photoshoot for this collection was with a ballerina showcasing our elegant golden jewellery.” Said Luisa.

With so many intricate and delicate designs, it’s difficult to choose a favourite, however we’ve managed to narrow down our top five best-loved designs to the Virgin Mary Pearl Necklace, Multicolor Rio Necklace, Lisbon Heart Pendant Necklace, Amsterdam Flowers Necklace, and Genena Golden Selection. Stunning on their own, and fun to layer for more personalisation, the lightweight and long-lasting pendant necklaces are the perfect treat for yourself or as a gift for a loved one. When asked about her favourite pieces, Luisa said “I love the Cleopatra style necklaces; they go with many outfits and give an elegant vibe.”

Having already experienced incredible growth since launching, Royal Way “will now invest in sustainability, and as part of this project will be launching a new event wear collection created using new textile made from orange peel and banana. This will form a circular economy model creating clothing made from new textiles and organic fibres.” Said Luisa when asked about her future plans for the brand.
